Pet access policies at the Hotel Alto de Pajas Boutique by H&R 

 

 

Access for domestic animals will be regulated and in accordance with the National Police and Coexistence Code. Access for pets to the Hotel Alto de Pajas Boutique is limited to the following regulations and mandatory compliance by guests or clients of the Hotel:


 1.Type of pet: the hotel will only accept the following pets: dogs and cats

  1. Weight: Pets up to 15 kilograms (30 pounds) are accepted.
  2. Hygiene: the lack of hygiene corresponding to excrement of dogs, cats, poultry and other animals in common areas; Barking and noise that disrupts cleanliness, tranquility and security will be subject to sanctions by the Hotel. In case of inconveniences reported to the Hotel Administration, it is their duty to initiate the corresponding actions.
  3. Breed: domestic animals with aggressive behavior, or those considered “dangerous breeds” (American Staffordshire Terrier, Bullmastiff, Doberman, Dogo Argentino, Dogue de Bordeaux, Fila Brasileiro, Neapolitan Mastiff, Pit Bull Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, Prey canary, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Terrier and Japanese Tosa), must use a leash, muzzle and have non-contractual insurance, in accordance with the provisions of the National Police and Coexistence Code and other current legal regulations on the matter.
  4. The owner of a potentially dangerous breed of dog assumes the position of guarantor of the risks that may be caused by the mere possession of these animals and for the damage and inconvenience that it causes to people, other animals, things, roads. and public space and the natural environment in general (Paragraph 2, Art. 134 of the National Police and Coexistence Code).
  5. Quantity: One (1) pet will be accepted per room.
  6. Access fee per pet: $85,000 cop with taxes included (one-time access fee per pet). 2023
  7. The Hotel may at any time ask guests who bring pets, to prove the animal's health status and a copy of the vaccination card.
  8. It is recommended that all pets have an identification tag containing the name and telephone number of their owner.
  9. Leash: all domestic animals of guests and/or guests must, without exception, travel within the facilities on a leash or leash, and always led by a person of legal age, to avoid any incident with other guests or other domestic animals. .
  10. Restricted areas for pets: at no time will pets be allowed into the restaurant, public areas of the hotel (gym, sauna, wet areas, pool area, jacuzzi), except for reasons of transit from the room to the nearest exit. For the convenience of other guests, stopping in the lobby is not permitted.
  11. In the room: I) The guest agrees to immediately report any special cleaning situations or material damage inside the room. II) The use of towels, sheets, beds, blankets or linens in the room for pets is prohibited.
  12. Disturbance policy: Any direct disturbance caused by a pet will generate a warning to the corresponding guest so that they can take measures to stop the disturbance immediately. In the event that it cannot be controlled immediately, your pet must be removed from the hotel, or the guest must leave the hotel, without room for returns, refunds or other sums for these events.
  13. Sanctions: it is prohibited for domestic animals to sleep in the Hotel beds. If this rule is not followed, there will be a grooming fine, worth 200,000 cops, which must be paid at the Hotel directly. The responsible owner must clean the area where the domestic animal relieves itself immediately or as soon as possible, otherwise a fine of 50,000 COP will be charged for each identified need that has not been cleaned. 2023
  14. Access of animals that are not considered by Law as “domestic” or those that to some extent may put the integrity of residents, visitors and other domestic animals at risk is prohibited.
  15. No guest or invitee will be exempt from complying with these regulations due to the type of domestic animals, size, docility, or any other subjective motivation.
  16. Failure to comply with the previous articles will give rise to the application of the sanctioning procedure established for these purposes. Failure to comply with any of the previous articles of this article will give rise to a single warning call from the Hotel Administration, if the guest is a repeat offender, this will give rise to a monetary penalty of one hundred percent (100%) of the value of the reservation; This sanction does not exonerate you from paying for any damage caused to the Hotel facilities.
  17. Liability: I) Guests with pets accept full responsibility for all property damage and/or personal injury resulting from their pet, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hotel, managers, owners, operators and collaborators from all liability and gives
